Eridano, il Po is a project by Luca Boffi with Piergiorgio Caserini and Camilla Romeo for Fondazione Un Paese, winner of the PAC - Piano per l'Arte Contemporanea 2024 of the General Directorate for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture. A journey that began in September 2024 and was developed in four seasonal stages, developed as as many performative actions called Diorami, during which the participants were able to directly experience floods and overflows, environmental renaturation sites, derelict floodplains and the animal species that inhabit them. The result of this journey is a moving work composed of seven elements: a cartography, a graphic notation and recording of the collective birdsong, a series of photographs, mud sculptures created by/of the participants, an audio recording on vinyl that reinterprets myths related to the river, a video that traces the entire journey, and the script and concept booklet that brings the performance to life. The play was presented on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at the Danilo Donati Social Theater in Luzzara.
