Ara is the temporary installation designed by Alberonero for Spin-off at Officine Fratti. The design of the work derives from an analysis of the architectural elements belonging to the place and pays particular attention to the presence of the full and empty volumes existing in the patio. The base is transformed into a concrete artifact, the column becomes a tree and the arch takes shape thanks to the wind through the use of light and semi-transparent tulle. Tulle takes on a dual function: to be at the same time a threshold through which to inhabit the reinvented place and a filter for the construction of a renewed gaze. Through the use of color and transparency, the human eye looks at the inhabited space and its surroundings with amazement, attention and slowness.
