Soy una piedra de tu polvo como un fruto de su flor

The work Lodo was realised on the occasion of the workshop Transforming the stones at the company Covarrubias excellence in marble processing of Guardalajara located in Jalisco, Mexico. The installation is composed of waste marble, dust resulting from various processes, combined with water. The hand-carved sphere is fired in a kiln, then decorated with gold leaf. The work is set up as a narrative revealing the transformation process of the material.
